Yankees Fans For Kentucky!

Kentucky is in the Final Four, so the New York Yankees Chase for 28 is in HOT PURSUIT
We here at FloppingOut are starting up the official “Yankee Fannnnnnsss for Kentucky” (Craig Carton Voice) chants.
What I mean by that is dating back to the Kentucky Wildcats Men’s first National Championship in 1948, every single one of their championships is followed by a New York Yankees World Series victory the following October.
Here is a list of the years Kentucky cut down the nets…
1949, 1951, 1958, 1978, 1996, and 1998.
As you probably know (if not ask any Yankee fan, they’ll remind you) the Yankees have 27 World Series Championships.
1923, 1927, 1928, 1932, 1936, 1937, 1938, 1939, 1941, 1943, 1947, (1949), 1950, (1951), 1952, 1953, 1956, (1958), 1961, 1962,1977, 1978, (1996), (1998), 1999, 2000, 2009.
There you have it, coincidence…. I think not. 1 is nothing, 2 is odd, 3 is coincidence, but SIX, six is a LOCK. In another one of my man Craig Carton’s favorite quotes (LA LA LA LA LA LA LOCK IT UP)
So Yankee fans, break out those Brandon Knight jerseys, and cheer on Coach Cal, your season depends on it!

Unfortunately for the other New York team, the Mets, they’ve had the same amount of World Series wins in the past 25 years then the VCU Rams have National Championships … ZERO!
