TIM DONAGHY. That’s right the NBA ref who in 2008 was sentenced to 15 months in Federal Prison for betting on games he officiated and making calls that affected point spreads, is back in action making videos about bad officiating, blogging that the NBA is rigged, talking on radio shows, and of course betting on a website called www.dannyb.info. Now if you visit the site it is not mainly a blog, but is more concentrated on being A SPORTS BETTING SITE…Shocker…HAHA. Talk about a guy who is making all the right moves after prison.
Check out Donaghy’s most recent video below where Tim is implying that there is a conspiracy going on in the NBA about LeBron James and the no calls from officials, and no comments from commentators/analysts on LeBron’s obvious traveling.
In regards to what Tim Donaghy is saying about the non traveling call: I guess it is weird that not one person publicly mentioned the obvious travel, but we are talking about the NBA and traveling. Since when do you hear commentators or analysts making a big deal about traveling even if it is obvious. Seems like Tim is either a) trying to make it look like the NBA is a sketchy league so he makes himself look better if that’s is possible or b) something sketchy is really going down in the NBA.
Officiating is going to decide the Miami/Dallas final…
“The key to this series is going to be the officiating, from start to finish. Miami’s physical style of defense always challenges the rules and if they are allowed to be as aggressive using their hands on defense, it’s going to be hard for Dallas to compete. If the rules are fairly applied and enforced the way they are written, Dallas has the best chance of a ring in the history of the franchise! And unlike 2006, any way you slice it, I don’t see Dwyane Wade walking off with the MVP title again. So, I say Dallas in 7″ (http://www.dannyb.inf0/key-series-is/).
To David Stern possibly rigging the draft….
“Some speculators think that maybe, just maybe, the NBA (aka David Stern) decided to show Cleveland a little love after getting left at the altar last year by LeBron, who took his talents to South Beach and so far, hasn’t looked back. Somehow, despite only having a minuscule chance of winning the draft, The Cavs landed the first pick, with the Timberwolves picking second (http://www.dannyb.info/love-david-stern/#more-1369).”
My favorite: That the Memphis Grizzlies purposely lost games at the end of the regular season to secure a spot to play the #1 Spurs…
“Rumors, or very educated guesses, are circulating that the Memphis Grizzlies purposefully lost several games at the end of the season in order to guarantee a match-up with the San Antonio Spurs, instead of teams they hoped to avoid in the first round, like Portland. This strategizing seemed to pay huge dividends, and short a miracle, the series will most certainly be won by Memphis. If you close your eyes, you can almost envision Zach Randolph and O.J. Mayo sitting around a local card game in someone’s basement after practice – eyes glazed over from polishing off a doobie – telling their buddies that they are going to put their feet up for the next few games in order to secure the Spurs in the first round(http://www.dannyb.info/rumors-plague-playoffs/#more-1117).”
-Why would Memphis want to play a team with the best record in the Western Conference, and play them as a #8 seed vs #1…when only three #8 seeds have beat a #1 seed in NBA history before Memphis did it this year? Idiot.
That The Dunk Contest Was Rigged…Which I have to agree with Timmy on because it you check out the article link below it is clear that on an email sent at 5:28pm, an hour before the dunk contest started, it already labelled Blake Griffin the 2011 Sprite Slam Dunk Contest winner…
Of course Tim also wrote about “Making an Educated Bet” and how he “was able to successfully pick the winners of many of the games with an 85% accuracy rate” (http://www.dannyb.info/making-educated-bet-2/).
I wonder how long it will be until Timmy gets involved in some Conor O’Neill, Hardball type shit? Dude has officially Lost It.
