Sam Hurd….Is Yo’ Pushaaa
If I were to read something like “NFL athlete busted for smoking marijuana” or “NFL player caught sniffin’ that white” I would not be surprised…..but when I read a headline like “NFL player arrested in attempts to push major quantities of cocaine and marijuana onto Chicago’s streets” I have to do a once over. Now while I’m sure tons of this shit goes down with pro athletes, like one player has a dealer who has another dealer who deals to other teammates on a same team (definitely like the 1990′s Cowboys), but for a PLAYER, making millions of dollars to sling yay in the NFL where they drug test more than a rehabilitation center (daytop) is pretty crazy, and DEFINITELY about the dumbest thing I’ve heard since Jerry Sandusky’s lawyer said he was only teaching those boys how to shower with soap.

At any rate, this weeks #IDIOT is former Dallas Cowboy wide receiver (shocker) and current…well current as of pre-arrest, Chicago Bear Sam Hurd. Hurd was arrested Wednesday night after meeting with an undercover agent at a Chicago restaurant, according to a criminal complaint that said the player was first identified as a potential drug dealer over the summer as the NFL lockout was coming to an end.
As Hurd dined at a steakhouse Wednesday night with an undercover federal agent and a confidential government informant, Hurd spoke of his desire to get his Tony Montana on, attempting to become a drug kingpin, authorities said.
The shakedown came after the dinner ended with one of the two supposed drug suppliers handing Hurd a bag allegedly containing 1 kilogram of cocaine, and as he placed the bag in his vehicle outside Morton’s Steakhouse in Rosemont, IL, Hurd was quickly arrested.
Hurd told the agent that he was interested in buying 5 to 10 kilograms of cocaine and 1,000 pounds of marijuana per week to distribute in the Chicago area, the complaint said. He allegedly said he and a co-conspirator already distributed about 4 kilos of cocaine every week, but their supplier couldn’t keep up with his demands. So you know Hurd was in the game for a while and knew the deal and apparently had some high demanding/high profiled clients.
The criminal complaint was filed in Texas, so Hurd, faces up to 40 years in prison and a $2 million fine if convicted of conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute more than 500 grams of cocaine, or a half-kilogram. Wow…this aint’ no north-west BS here Hurd….this is the state of Texas….you’re lucky they aren’t trying to fry yo’ ass.
Now the crazy part in all of this, is that Bears receiver was considered a “top drug dealer in Chicago” and police have a list of NFL players who were supplied drugs by Hurd, a law enforcement source told 670 The Score. The list is “in the double-digits”, according to the source. “THAT SHIT CRAY”…. I wonder if Hurd will get his Frank Lucas on and nark out about half of the NFL who bought his product(s). This will be the most anticipated list of #IDIOT athletes since the Mitchell Report. My number one guess…..Jay Cutler. Think about it. The #Fatty has gone from ex-#fatty-to-#fatty-back to an ex-#fatty like 10 times, and when you watch him in interviews, my man looks like he hasn’t slept in days. Oh and you’re telling me Hurd’s quarterback, who slings him the rock, didn’t know Hurd was slingin’ his own rock? YEA RIGHTTTT….
