WTF? In one day, we had a point guard (Rondo) go for 18 points, 20 assists and 17 rebounds in one game, and another (Deron Williams) score 57 points, with his own 7 assists and 6 rebounds to add to the mix. If this isn’t a POINT GUARD DRIVEN league than that chick Ali from Hoboken yesterday really did want to hook up with me.
So as you know Rondo did work against the Knicks today. He CHECKED IN and cocked slapped every face in a Knicks jersey with Paul Pierce’s cock. It was honestly one of the craziest things to see, because it didn’t seem like Rondo was DOING WHAT HE WAS ACTUALLY DOING… until his stat line popped up. HE HAD 20 ASSISTS, which is just ridiculous. I mean some of the best point guards of all time, NEVER HAD A 20 ASSIST GAME. On top of that he HAD 17 REBOUNDS IN A GAME. SOME TOP REBOUNDERS HAVE NEVER HAD 17 REBOUNDS IN A GAME. Doesn’t make sense. On top of that he added 18 points, which isn’t too shabby itself.
Rondo becomes only the 3rd player in NBA history (next to Chamberlain and Robertson SHOCKER) to record at least 15 points, 20 assists and 15 rebounds in the same game, and the last guy to have 17 in each was MAGIC in 89. In the last 25 years only two other players have hit the 15-15-15 mark (Jason Kidd and Magic Johnson). So Rondo is pretty much saying “IF YOU TRADE ME YOU ARE A DUMB BIATCH.” I personally wouldn’t feel right trading a guy who is mentioned in the same breathe with those guys above.
Now that happened earlier today. BUT JUST A COUPLE HOURS AGO, New Jersey Nets SUPER-star DERRON WILLIAMS put the finishing touches on a 57 POINT OUTBURST in a win against the BOBCATS…which broke a Nets franchise record, previously shared by two JAGS (Mike Newlin and Ray Williams – 52 points) and was the most points scored THIS season. Williams broke his career high by 15 points (previous 42 against OKC), and more impressively did it without OT. HE ONLY PLAYED 38 minutes and had 40 POINTS IN THE SECOND HALF. He also unKOBE’D it and had 7 assists which says “I AM A MOTHERFUCKIN BOSS.”
Williams’ 57 points was the most in a game since Kobe had 61 against the Knicks (SHOCKER) in 2009, and was the most for a point guard since Gilbert “I am now am a fucking fatty” Arena had 60 against the Lakers in 2006. Williams was also a perfect 21 of 21 from the FREE THROW LINE, which is the most in the NBA history without missing, for someone with 50+ points.
Crazy how when you hear talk about the “best point guard” in the NBA, it is usually between Derrick Rose or Chris Paul. But I am telling you these two have to be in the conversation. Rondo and Deron Williams are underrated for HOW DAMN GOOD THESE GUYS REALLY ARE. If I had to break it down: Derrick Rose is the best scoring point guard, Chris Paul is the best “pure” pointguard, Deron Williams is the best shooting point guard, and Rajon Rondo is the best all around point guard…
FYI – You want to hear a crazy stat about Deron Williams? No not that he had his jersey retired in Turkey after only 15 games…but in 7 years, Williams has averaged 10 or more assists 4 times (in a row from 2008-2011). In 18 years, Jason Kidd averaged 10 or more assists only 3 TIMES. And Deron is definitely a better scorer than Kidd, who shoots like my dad. Wonder how former Charlotte GM Bernie Bickerstaff feels about turning down a trade that would have sent point guard Deron Williams to Charlotte back in 2005. #IDIOT. Wonder how Celtics GM Danny Ainge feels about wanting to trade Rondo to Golden State for Stephen Curry. #IDIOT. Wonder how Golden State GM Larry Riley feels about not wanting to do the trade. #IDIOT.
