Phillies Fan Coldcocks Nationals Mascot

Smile Bro, You're on camera!....Schmidiot.

Every fourth-inning at Nationals Park, the Washington Nationals hold their nightly “Presidents Race” where they dress four people as famous United States Presidents, such as Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, Teddy Roosevelt, and Thomas Jefferson and let them race each-other.

Last night during the race, MASN (Mid-Atlantic Sports Network) telecast caught a fan who appeared to be reaching for a high five, punch the man dressed up as Thomas Jefferson.

Check out the footage from the Nationals TV cameras.

The fan wasn’t wearing team gear but after the fan was ejected, it was established the man was in fact a Philadelphia Phillies fan as he left the park with a few friends donned in Philly gear. (Shocker another classy Phillies fan.)

Teddy Roosevelt would manage to stay on his feet after the incident, and make a race out of it, but lost to Abe Lincoln down the stretch.
