Part I: Mike Francesa’s Agenda EXPOSED

Anyone who follows NY sports or listens to sport radio, knows of Mike Francesa. And if you listen to Mike Francesa you know of his stern and biased ways. When Mike likes someone…that someone is Gold; and if Mike hates someone… that person will get bashed like a pinata for years. Well, New York Jets Head Coach Rex Ryan is that pinata and it is Mike’s birthday.

The 3 Main Reasons Why Mike Francesa Despises Rex Ryan…

  • 1) Rex does not allow Jet players to appear on Mike’s show because Mike belittles them. Thus, Mike’s rating go down across the Jets community and in return Mike makes less money. Regardless of how profitable Mike is as a sports radio show, he would be a lot more profitable if he had Jets on his show…
  • 2) While Rex Rex was out promoting his Book he had a scheduled call in with Mike. Rex blew Mike off. Mike was really pissed about this and has never gotten over the fact that Rex shunned him. Mike bashed Rex’s book for weeks calling the book an Epic flop, even though it really wasn’t [PFT ARTICLE ON BEEF HERE].
  • 3) Rex Ryan’s character is the anti Parcells and Mike is a huge PARCELLS GUY. Unlike Parcells, Rex jokes around with everyone in the media, is very, very, very, very brash, and does not take life too seriously. Mike thinks Rex does a lot of what he does for show and to sell tickets.

So when Mike gets his chance, which is everyday, he bashes Rex Ryan. Whether it is fair (99% of the time it is not), or not fair or not true…Mike BASHES REX REGARDLESS. Most of the time, Mike doesn’t even believe half the stuff he says about Rex because it is false/doesn’t make sense. But Mike just keeps going in order to get the MEDIA closer to the ultimate goal: WHICH IS TO GET REX RYAN FIRED AS NY JETS HEAD COACH.

Whether Mike attaches subliminal messages with words like “Black Monday” directly with Rex’s names or directly attacks Rec for saying things in order to sell tickets or that Rex has an ordinary defense (they were Top 5), MIKE is making it his agenda to RUN REX OUT OF TOWN. And believe it or not he has more power than anyone, outside of Mr. T and Woody Johnson to make that happen. He is the number one (day) sports radio host in the COUNTRY. When Mike talks, a ton of people listen and sculpt their opinions around his ideas. You know the saying 95% of people don’t think for themselves…

The bashing of Rex CLIMAXED when the Jets lost to the Dolphins and did not make the playoffs at 8-8. Mike was kicking, punching, spitting on a dead man. Since that Sunday, the RUN REX RYAN OUT OF TOWN AGENDA HAS BEEN IN FULL FORCE.

Mike talks about the Jets failure this season and they are all attributed to ONE MAN and ONE MAN ONLY…REX RYAN. Not Mark Sanchez who SUCKED this year and had most turnovers of any QB, not Brian Schottenheimer… nough said, not the players who actually do the PLAYING, not a bad offseason where the Jets did not fill key positions, NOT maybe it was just a down year (happens)….NO….IT IS REX RYAN’S FAULT AND THE JETS SHOULD SERIOUSLY LOOK INTO FIRING HIM…

Now to Jets fan this is blasphemous. We all know Rex Ryan has done a great job for 2 and a half seasons. Not only did he bring a swag the Jets haven’t seen since Joe Namath was getting drunk, guaranteeing Super Bowls…but BROUGHT the Jets to two consecutive AFC championship games, ALL IN HIS FIRST TWO YEARS. I know, I know…the same old cliche. But that is a big accomplishment if you take into account that the Jets had a QB named Mark Sanchez throwing the football, and other teams had guys like Philip Rivers, Tom Brady and Peyton Manning…who the Jets and Rex beat. I mean if there is one thing Rex does better than any coach in football…it is prepare his team to tame an elite quarterback, and IN THIS DAY AND AGE IN THE NFL THAT IS THE BIGGEST ADVANTAGE YOU CAN HAVE, ESPECIALLY IF YOU DON’T HAVE AN ELITE QB YOURSELF.

Over the last 3 years Rex has had a Top 5 defense (2009- 1st, 2010-3rd, 2011-5th, tied with only Pittsburgh as the only team to be top 5 since 2009). However, if you ask Mike Francesa… Rex’s defenses are “ordinary.” And if you ask Mike about Rex’s back to back AFC championship games he’ll tell you that the first year doesn’t count because Rex had the “luckiest path ever.” Or if you ask Mike what the Jets need to fix next year, it is REX RYAN, not the offense which ranked 25th in league and led the AFC in turnovers, or the QB who ranked 30th…BUT REX RYAN. Now I am not making this stuff up, MIKE ACTUALLY SAID THOSE THINGS and a lot more during a Monday Morning Monologue after the Jets lost to the Phins.

Now listen people, I don’t care what someone says especially on there show, but you at least should attempt to stay honest and true. When you LIE and I READ AGENDA, AGENDA, AGENDA behind EVERYTHING you say… YOU NEED TO BE EXPOSED BITCH. So here is Part I of a FloppingOut Documentary- Mike Francesa’s Agenda: Trying To Run Rex Ryan Out Of Town. PART II will come out sometime next week…

NOTE: Rex will  join Mike Francesa on WFAN, TOMORROW JANUARY 20TH, 2012 AT 1:30PM. This should/WILL be good.

Mike Francesca Opening Monologue 1/6/11[1][2]

Now here is a segment we ran on FloppingOut Radio which broke down the monologue….

SEGMENT BREAKING DOWN FRANCESA’S AGENDA FOR PART 1

Here is a post write up with extracted quotes from the monologue…

Mike opens the show…

[00:46 - 01:15]

“Happy New Year to everybody. For Giants fans it’s a very happy new year, and I think if you look around you’ll see you still own the city, and for Jets fan a very very ugly, and this is Black Monday in the NFL and it’s a black Monday in Florham Park, they’ll have a press conference at 3, we will cover it live both Mr. T and the weepy Rex Ryan will both be there at 3 o’clock. The Jets today acting like the spoiled children they acted like yesterday, today pouting in front of the media…we’ll get to all that.”

Nothing like mentioning the Jets with very, very, ugly and Black Monday in the same sentence…Subliminal Message: Black Friday. Black Monday is the Monday after week 17 where coaches get canned like tuna fish.

Then Mike talks about Rex…

[03:22 - 03:35]

“The one time I talked to them, I sat with Rex Ryan who looked me in the eye and said ‘we are the best team in football, I guarantee we will win the Super Bowl this year.’ I said you are guaranteeing it. Guarantee we will the Super Bowl this year”

That is a lie: let’s listen to WHAT REX ACTUALLY SAID DURING HIS LONE FACE TO FACE INTERVIEW WITH MIKE…

What Rex said was….”I think we have the goods to do it. Nobody is going to convince me otherwise. Until they say hey you guys don’t play this week because you are out of the playoffs or whatever. But you know to me we are going for it and that is the only goal we have. And I just want our guys to envision that you know what. Cause they know, that I am speaking from the heart and I am telling you what I believe to be the truth, is it the truth, we are going to find out. A great thing is, I can’t wait because we get to prove it on the field and we will see who is right.”

Mike then asks Rex:”So how much of it is show and how much of it is real, how much of it do you really believe?

Rex says: 100%.

Mike: No its not, not 100%, not 100. NOOO, there is no con in here”

As Rex keeps saying “100%.”

Now go to the monologue that I just posted HERE [1][2] and listen to 10:15-10:25 (“whether it is leading to them selling tickets, or gettin em commercials or getting em attention”)

Mike obviously thinks Rex says all the stuff he does to try to sell tickets and get the media going, not because Rex actually believes he has a Super Bowl team. WHAT IN THE HELL DOES REX CARE ABOUT SELLING TICKETS. He is not the owner, he is the coach. If he doesn’t win he doesn’t EAT. Plus Rex isn’t like that. He says whatever he feels and is an honest dude, read his book…he breaks down why he doesn’t find a need to lie. The man believes in everything he does. I just think Mike is mad because last time Mike had a quarter the confidence of Rex, he could still see his dick.

PLUS WHO CARES IF REX GUARANTEES IT. Can it really bother Mike that much? Does it effect Mike’s fat life, his kids who will probably be fat, his job which makes him fatter…WHO HONESTLY CARES? The man has done pretty well doing what he’s been doing.

[03:34 - 03:55]

“They didn’t make the playoffs. Not only that. They collapsed. And right now you can say after three years they’re the same old jets. They collapsed down the stretch like old Jet teams used to do. So the two years, the first year was the luckiest ride of all time, last year they played well. But in three years they don’t have a division title, they have never played a home game.”

Mike trying to make it seem like the Jets are just the typical Jets who will/should cycle coaches like I cycle bagels in my toaster. Like the Jets went 5-11. And does it really matter that the Jets never won the AFC EAST? They still went farther than the team that won the division. Mike just trying to make the Jets out to be a worst team/organization than they actually are, and Rex as the reason for it. He also makes Rex out to be lucky with the “luckiest path I have ever seen” statement, and this is a way to talk down Rex’s success…as more lucky than skill.

Mike cont…

[04:40 - 05:25]

“But what has to change now is that Rex has gotta grow into a full version of being a head coach. You can not stand up there yesterday and when asked why Holmes was out of the game, at a pivotal time say I do not anything about it. You’re the head coach how the hell do you not know anything about it. How is it humanly possible that you don’t know anything about it. To say that you don’t anything about it is embarrassing! You’re the head coach, how can you tell me you don’t know why Holmes is sitting down!? Are you running the place or you’re not running the place!? The idea that you don’t know anything about it is either just an outright..out and out lie or the dumbest thing I have ever seen in my life.”

Hey Mike let me explain this to you…it is very possible Rex did not know anything about it. If you have ever been on a sideline you fat bitch, you would know that when a coach is coaching up one side of the ball, THEY MISS SOME PLAYS. For example, my head coach at Colgate would be coaching up LBs as the offense was driving. Happens when you have a coordinator as the coach. I mean just listen to Rex talk about it for yourself…

Now when Mike heard this, because he did air the full press conference with Mr. T and the weepy Rex Ryan on his numba one show, he was so pissed. First thing Mike said after the conference call was, “well that was a complete waste of time.” Really Mike, a complete waste of time? Cause I am sure when Tom Coughlin or Bill Belichick talks to the media, they tell them so much that it is NOT a complete waste of time. Sippin on to much of that Hatorade #fatty, just cause Rex and Mike T made your previous 2 hour rant irrelevant.

Mike cont…

[05:51 - 07:05]

“You are going to sit there and make the statement. I don’t know anything about it. I don’t know anything about it. I don’t why he was down there, I don’t why he was out of the game. I gotta find out guys. Guys I gotta to find out, I gotta find out, ahhh I’ll find out. Now either you are just out of it completely. Where you just have a complete disconnect from the entire staff. You can not be the Head Coach on a team and not know what is going on to that point with your team on the sideline. It’s impossible. You are not in control then. You are admitting you are not in control. If Eric Mangini had done that they would have gone crazy. And that’s what’s ended now, see the idea okay…of well you know it’s Rex and it’s Rex’s way and don’t worry he wins…well you know that’s all gone now. That’s all gone now. Okay. That bit. And listen. he came in the first year they were 7-7, they had luckiest path I have ever seen to a playoff game, to get into the playoffs.”

Mike didn’t know how to make a point out of it, so he kept yelling at himself for the next 10 minutes, repeating “I don’t know anything about it.” And Mike please don’t compare Rex Ryan to Eric Mangini. Rex has done a 10x better than Mangini in 3 years, that’s one. Two, look at Mike trying to say Rex’s pass is gone. Mike just trying to influence people and reporters to start bashing Rex because he had one down year (not even a losing season). Another way the top radio host in the country is trying to influence a coaches firing, by saying he has one more year with leway…

Mike cont…

[07:38 - 07:50]

“He (Mark Sanchez) was a bad quarterback with very little confidence in what he was doing. And the team has less confidence in him and the coaching staff has less confidence than that.”

Another shot at the coaching staff/Rex. Funny that when you listen to Mike he never bashes Sanchez – the 30th ranked QB in the league (based on QBR), who had more turnovers than any quarterback in football. And really Mike, less confidence than Sanchez himself. Didn’t Schotty let Sanchez drop back 64 times against your Giants in the biggest game of the season?

Mike cont…

“Rex Ryan is going nowwhere, we know that. Mark Sanchez isn’t going anywhere we know that. But there are people leaving.”

Another typical Mike subliminal message about Rex getting fired…as if Jet fans want Rex fired. Mike knows that NOT ONE JETS FAN OUT THERE WANTS REX GONE. HE JUST SAYS THAT, to build the thought in your head. AGAIN SUBLIMINAL MESSAGES…

Mike cont…

[09:25- 11:31]

“This has become a front running bunch that has no toughness. They talk touch, they act tough, they aren’t tough. And now they’re not any good. So what happens now is, the head coach while he is going to remain defiant in his words, we know that. Can not remain the same coach. He has to change, he has to get smarter and better. He has to watch his words now because otherwise he is going to come off looking like a clown. Like a fool. Because no one’s gonna take this stuff seriously. Yea give us another guarantee, we want another one. Pile one on here okay. Because in this town yea you get to make some guarantees, and if they work out that’s great. And he built some steam because he guaranteed some playoff wins and got some. And then kept guaranteeing, and guaranteeing until he couldn’t back it up. And then this year made some comments which make him look like a clown. And the bottom line is now it’s gotta change. And he has got to pay less time worrying about what his talk is and what his message is, and whether it is leading to them selling tickets, or gettin em commercials or getting em attention. And worry about running the entire team as head coaches do. Put a right staff together. Get everybody on the same page. Get the players that you do need. and figure out what is going on. And not be totally lost on the sidelines. The Idea of a coach being in total control of your team, and being in total control of your team, and he is not. So it is a big step backward for the Jets. I mean they have to do anything earth shattering. I mean teams change coordinators, team change coaches, teams change their personality that’s fine. Rex Ryan for three years here has a positive body of work. But he took a big step backwards, but his grace period is over. He had a point after two years where he could say and do anything he wanted. That’s done he is given that all that back.

DIRECT SHOT AT REX. A CRUZ MISSILE COULDN’T BE MORE DIRECT…

[13:58-14:20]

“Yes they’re dysfunctional as a coaching staff now and have to make major changes. Offensive coaches have to go, the play caller has to go. Does it mean that it is Schottenheimer’s fault and he has to go. No.”

Yea not Schotty’s fault at all. Dude just had the #25 ranked offense in the league. Not to mention not one Jets receiver went over 100 yards this year. Brandon Pettigrew had more yards than Holmes 654. I mean, Schotty has had so much success that it tells you this year was not his fault. SYCHH. Last 6 years Schotty’s offensives have ranked: 25th, 11th, 20th, 16th, 26th, 25th…with one receiver who hit the 1,000 yard mark. To put that in perspective Nate Washington had 1,000 yards this year, and the Giants had 2 guys go for over 1,000 yards…

Mike Cont…

[15:15 - 15:23]

When talking about Norv Turner: “Just not a head coach. Can’t put all the ingredients together. Not everybody can. We are still learning to find out if Rex Ryan can.”

Subliminal Message about maybe Rex is not the man for the job. Mike could be right, but this is like the 30th time he has said it. Agenda clearly taking over. How do you find a way to fit in Rex when talking about offense and offensive coordinators

Mike Cont…

[15:32 - 16:02]

“While everybody’s talking about Schottenheimer and everybody is talking about the quarterback which is usually the case, let’s not forget this defense was very ordinary. Very ordinary. And that 21 play drive with their best player on the sideline, speaks volumes about this season. So many things spoke volumes.”

VERY ORDINARY? THE JETS WERE RANKED 5th in defense (yards allowed behind Pit, Hou, Bal, and San). ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND. Do you watch the Jets? Yea we gave up a drive to Tebow when no one gameplanned against the dude and he was hot, and a drive to Matt Moore who if people don’t forget was having a hell of a year, where he had two weeks where he was ranked #1 in QBR (over Rodgers, Brees and Brady). What ordinary Jets defense are you taking about. If you don’t know Mike THE JETS WERE #1 IN THE AFC IN TURNOVERS. The Jets turned the ball over more than any team in the AFC. That is why the Jets defense gave up a lot of points at time. The Jets offense was one of the worst in the NFL this year.

Oh I wonder if Mike was saying that as a shot at Rex, who happens to run the Jets defense.

Mike Cont…

[16:02 - 16:12]

“About how Rex screwed up the clock before the half. They shouldn’t even have been trying for points before the half when they gave up that last field goal. They should have put the game away and got out of there.”

SCREWED UP THE CLOCK? The Jets had the ball on their 45 yard line with 25 seconds left and one timeout. ANY TEAM IN THE LEAGUE will try to get a FG out of that, especially when you are trying to go up by 2 scores. And got out of there? Where were they in Iraq…

Now all these quotes are from a 16 minute opening by Mike Francesca. If you listened to a large portion of his 5 HR show yesterday, which I did (not podcasted), you would hear so many more shots at Rex. I mean shot, after shot, after shot, without one negative reference about the play calling of schotty,  Sanchez or the running game. JUST AT REX. Unbelievable. This guy should not be allowed to talk about the Jets because his biased is rediculous. Because Rex is not like Parcells, and cause Rex does not let his players go on Mike’s show makes MIKE HATE THE GUY because of this personality and THE NUMBER 1 REASON…HE TAKES RATINGS ($$$) AWAY FROM MIKE.

Last thing Mike says…

[16:45-16:54]

“The defense was ordinary at best. Was it better than the offense? Yea, but it was ordinary. There’s a lot that has to be fixed but the first thing is, knock off the tough guy talk and figure out how to coach better and to put things back where they belong.”

SHOCKER, Mike making it seem like it was MOSTLY Rex’s fault that the Jets sucked. Then he ends this epic monologue with a message for Rex, “Put things back where they belong.” WHAT THE HELL DOES THAT EVEN MEAN. I know Mike tells to his kids about the cookies, but how does that apply to coaching football?
