Nyjer Morgan And Albert Pujols Beefin’
Only thing that baseball could do to take my mind off of the start of the NFL season tomorrow is benches being cleared….and that is EXACTLY what happened when the Cardinals played the Brewers. While no punches were thrown, no bats were flung, and no balls were beamed at anyone’s dome…..there was that weirdo Nyjer Morgan gettin’ all gutta on Albert Pujols.
According to Morgan, this is how it went down…St Louis Cardinals pitcher Chris Carpenter started the beef when he yelled “f*ck you” towards Nyjer as he was slowly walking to the dug-out. Morgan then shouted back at Carpenter and took out his chewing tobacco and threw it towards the mound. Homie don’t play that. Luckily for Morgan, Carpenter had his back turned toward the outfield at that point, but “the machine”… a.k.a Albert Pujols noticed the tobacco toss and charged toward Morgan from first base.
I’m not so sure Morgan didn’t entice Pujols but you decide for yourself.
If you know anything about Morgan (remember last year) you know my man is strange and he aint’ scared to throw down (doesn’t have great luck with first basemen though)…check it out:

While no fight happened this time, Morgan did take it to twitter (of course) check out the controversial comments he had for baseball’s best hitter…something tells me this isn’t the last you’ll hear of this beef.
