Nashville Predators Aren’t Too Good At Pre-game Events

What's in the bag?

The Nashville Predators (nice name for a bunch of 25-35 year old men) are facing elimination tonight at the hands of the Vancouver Canucks, as they play game 5 of the Stanley Cup playoffs conference Semifinals. If these two videos are any indications of what is to come tonight for Nashville, they are in some deep trouble.

We all know hockey is a “man’s sport” right? So what in Chris Hansen’s name are the Predators doing sending out a 5-year old kid for a pre-game pump up speech? Check it out….you may think it’s cute and all but it doesn’t exactly make your blood boil.

As it turns out, the Canucks beat up the Predators that night and that kid probably went home crying. C’mon now, just because your team name IS “Predators” doesn’t mean you need a 5-year old kid out there as a mascot.

Now that leads us to our next Predator fail. This one came a game earlier as Nashville’s winger Matt Halischuk didn’t notice a camera man was standing right in front of the teams entrance display, and NAILED him. You can see from the camera mans view after the incident.

Yikes. Judging by these two debacles it’s no surprise that they are looking at elimination tonight. At this point I don’t even think Mr.Hansen could help. Might as well just “Have a seat.”
