Maybe An NFL Lockout Would Be Good For Me

Maybe this is a good thing for me?

By now I’m sure you’re ALL sick of hearing about the NFL Lockout, and to be honest so am I. So this isn’t going to be a regular NFL Lockout post, instead I will have a little fun with the most boring thing to come out of the NFL since an Eric Mangini press conference.

What I’m going to do is count just how much money I would save in ONE WHOLE 17 GAME NFL SEASON.

But first, here’s a few symptoms I WONT miss having all in thanks to an NFL Season.

A. High Blood Pressure

B. Gaining a TON of extra weight I don’t need

C. Liver Damage

D. Heart Damage

5. Loss of Brain Cells

Now lets get down to the numbers…..REMEMBER….this is all based on a 17-Game NFL Season. (No Preseason or Postseason)

So when I add up the cost of Tickets, Gas, Parking, Tolls, Apparel, Food, Beverages, Con Ed, Gambling, and other small things included in the spread sheet, I end up saving about $1,778.
Maybe this lockout is a good thing for me. I’ll start planning that Island vacation now because I’m ready to sit it out…..Bastards.
