Mavs Owner Mark Cuban Hopes The Brooklyn Nets Suck
No one ever said Mark Cuban was likeable. In fact he’s quite the cunt. I know it’s weird, because I am a big Mark Cuban fan, but that is mostly because I like normally like the guy that the media hates/want you to hate. Sure he can be a dick, and sometimes he can be sour, like when he said this about Jeremy Lin; “If it was happening in Charlotte, no one would know. New York is still kind of the mecca of the media for basketball’’, but usually Cuban is pretty damn cool. I kind of think of him as the skinnier, richer Rex Ryan. You LOVE him if he is the owner/coach of your favorite team, and you HATE him if he isn’t.
But when asked about the upcoming Brooklyn Nets franchise, after his team got Lin-ed up by the New York Knicks today, Cuban responded in a pretty pissy way.
I guess don’t blame Cuban, really. I mean he is an owner of an NBA team, why the hell would he want them to be good? Also he maybe in contention with Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov (who has about ten times the fortune that rich ass Cuban has) when it comes to chasing impending free agents, Deron Williams and Dwight Howard in the future, so sure what the hell. But anytime Cuban says something to the media, he sounds like sort of a dick.
