I have always hated Jason Taylor. To me he is this preppy, selfish, self-centered, egotistical, thinks he is all that, douche bag…but I gotta say he does keep it one hunD-ed (gangsta voice) when he sits down for an interview, and to keep it one hunD-ed myself I have never listened to an interview where I really certain things someone said, and really hated other things he said..
The sit down Jason did with NBC Miami is on their shitty website in 3 parts, where in part 1 Jason talks about his transition to different teams, part 2 is where the controversial/idiot comments about Mark Sanchez NOT being as talented as Chad Henne, and part 3 where he talks about winning and dieing.
PART 1
Highlights of Part 1:
Jason was asked about why he left Miami and his beef with Bill Parcells, this is what he had to say…
“I left Miami twice, once by trade, once through free agency. Didn’t want to either time. For whatever reason, Bill and I didn’t see eye to eye or I don’t even know if we had a chance to see eye to eye, because we never really communicated like that. It was just Bill didn’t like me, didn’t want me around or whatever. Whatever it was, it was. I don’t want to sit here and sling mud. He’s Gone. THANK GOD. And I’m back,” said Jason. “You know I’m very comfortable and confident in saying he’s the reason why I left Miami…Like I said he’s gone, Thank God, I’m back Thank God.”
Some other moments: Taylor described his time in Washington as “a miserable six months” (shocker); Miami still has a shot regardless of what everybody says….Idiot; and he loved his time in NY and especially loved how much everybody in the organization always “believed they were going to win.”
“Easy for me to say this now in retrospect: we got out butts kicked when we (the jets) went to New England last year, we got slaughtered whatever it was 42-3,” said Jason to NBC Miami. “We had to go back and play them in the playoffs in the second round, it was their first playoff game because they won the division and had a first round bye. I promised you on my kid’s eyeballs, there was not a person, on our football team that thought we were going to lose to New England.”
PART 2
Highlights of Part 2
Best coach he has played for is Jimmy Johnson, Rex Ryan, and Jason’s favorite Nick Saban. I mean who else did you expect Jason to say, he won a friggin Defensive Player of Year Award with Saban (even though THE TEAM went 6-10).
NOW THE MOMENT WE HAVE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR
Jason Taylor talking about Chad Henne being more talented than Mark Sanchez (WATCH AT THE 2:30 mark, Part 2)
“Chad has grown immensely since I left here a year and a half ago. I’ve seen so much along the maturation process in Chad Henne. Chad has all the talent to do it. He is developing that attitude, he is developing that demeanor and that swagger that it takes to play that position.”
“I saw a kid in New York, Mark Sanchez, that is young, I don’t think he’s as talented as Chad Henne.”
WOW. I guess just throwing a great ball judges a quarterback. So Jamarcus Russell is more talented than Mark Sanchez, Ryan Leaf, Tim Couch, and shit even Curtis Painter might be better than Mark Sanchez. Is Jason serious, cause I doubt he really believes that.
Just consider that before Jason went to NY, where MARK SANCHEZ not CHAD HENNE won him playoff games Jason hadn’t made the playoff since 2001. So it tells you a lot about how much Jason knows about “winning quarterbacks.” Now I am not going to ride my Jets horse because Mark Sanchez throws some balls that my 1 year old cousin could make, but the dude has an aura and a clutch factor about him that if he works on bettering his arm, and calms the fuck down in the pocket…he could be a PROBLEM.
And honestly I wish I could just sit down with the fatty Rex and him to get rid of that fucking idiot calling the offensives plays, Brian Schottenheimer, who trusts the passing game as much as I trust a crackhead giving me a dollar back. I mean when is time to take the training wheels off Sanchez, because we can’t keep trying to hide Mark anymore, especially with a running game that has gone to shit. Yea I know the man (he ain’t a kid anymore) has thrown for career highs in two games already this season but we need to open up that playbook. Run some deep posts, stop and gos, deep hitches, post corners, I do know…something over 10 yards.
Well back to beach bitch boy Jason…You can listen to Part 3 HERE, which sucks besides for Jason saying, “if you master losing you should die.”
