Does This Indianapolis Sports Radio Host Really Know Something We Don’t?
So news just broke (somewhat) about an hour ago with a tweet from a John Michael Vincent of 1070 ESPN Radio in Indianapolis that said Colts quarterback/offensive coordinator/head coach Peyton Manning, will need another surgery in his neck and is out “indefinitely.”
Now the mainstream media (like the fatty Peter King) have all gone scrambling looking for ANY breaking news on this. We all know Mike Florio from ProFootballTalk.com HAS to be the first one to report it, so he already came out with an article similar to this one, stating the radio hosts claims. And our boy Incarcerated Bob has gone all out on this…who knows.
I made a few calls on this and nice dice on any news so every Colt fan and Fantasy Football owner is in fetal position awaiting the news. Even if this isn’t true, I would still expect Peyton to miss a game or two, forcing Kerry Collins to start for the Colts.
We’ve all been burnt by ESPN media heads before (which is probably why they’ve gone all nazi on their employees about breaking news) like Tim Cowlishaw and the Darrelle Revis holdout last offseason. Stick around and don’t jump quite yet, Indianapolis-ians. (I think that’s what they’re called).
