Did The NFL Network LIE About It’s Top 100 List?

You know SOMEONE was involved!

NFL.com and NFL Network’sTop 100 Players of 2011 list rounded up last night with New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady receiving top honors. But there are a bit of conspiracies growing amongst some players, claiming that they never got to cast their vote. (The list is “supposedly” a countdown of the top 100 players in the game today as determined by the current players). Not sure what I believe but check it out.

Players such as Arizona Cardinals safety Kerry Rhodes, SI.com NFL writer Jim Trotter, Pittsburgh Steelers safety Ryan Clark, Arizona Cardinals kicker Jay Feely, Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker Kirk Morrison, and Seattle Seahawks offensive lineman Chester Pitts, are a bit skeptical…Now these are some serious names. Very well known and well respected dudes. I blame Roger Goodell!

Very strange. I wonder what the NFL is trying to pull with this? Either way I thought during the lockout players were to have NO communications with ANYONE involved with the league, so a vote/conversation would break the laws of the lockout…no?

Oh of course Tom Brady won.

If you care to take a look at NFL.com’s rigged list, here it is.
