Delusional Tim Tebow Fans Make Me Laugh
Oh boy that title made some Tebow’s holy-head blood BOIL? Well it should and shouldn’t. If you follow college football and NFL football as religiously as I do, it’s as easy to see that Tebow isn’t an NFL quarterback, as it is to see Rex Ryan at the buffet line. Yes…that clear.
Now I’m not just basing this on the fact that KYLE ORTON and BRADY QUINN have made Timmy boy look like that little kid who interrupts your baseball game with your friends and gets you guys to underhand toss for him….YES It’s THAT BAD.
I mean how in the world can you sit there and say TIM TEBOW will be a great quarterback in the NFL? Did you even watch him in college and ATTEMPT to throw a football? Leave aside the fact that he has “intangibles” when you see his throwing motion that looks like a 12-year old girl. I don’t want to hear he has “it” he has “the drive” that’s like saying I have this BEAUTIFUL car, shiny red paint, tinted windows, sweet rims, but no motor and no brakes.
Tim Tebow was BARELY allowed to throw the ball in college, did you see that? In 2009, Tebow threw the ball over 25 times, in only 3 games. Who was the last University of Florida quarterback that made it in the NFL? Danny Wuerffel, Rex Grossman, Shane Matthews, Jesse Palmer??? It’s not a fluke.
Now don’t get me wrong, I think Tim Tebow is a terrific athlete, great player and a helluva teammate, BUT HE IS NOT AN NFL QUARTERBACK. Kyle Orton is beating him so badly in camp so far (yes I know it’s only been a week) that you’d think he was Tina Turner. I mean people at Bronco camp are saying BRADY QUINN is making him look bad. He isn’t getting ANY reps with the first team, and the only drill Tebow has a leg up on the other two is sprints. That’s great if he was going out for a wide-out spot.
Speaking of wide-out’s, listen to what Bronco’s number one receiver, Brandon Llyod said about the situation…
“It’s the Tebow thing,’’ wide receiver Brandon Lloyd told SI.com, referring to Tebow’s popularity, and fans’ desire for Tebow to play. “They’ll put Kyle on the trading block because they don’t want to deal with the Tebow thing. But it’s not going to end until (Tebow) plays.’’ [SI.com]
There it is. Basically it’s the Denver Bronco fans, who have been desperately searching for a quarterback since John Elway left, putting all their eggs in the wrongly selected first round pick, Tebow. That’s where the problem ensued. In NO SHAPE OR FORM should TIM TEBOW have been a first round pick. I’m sorry, how can a head coach (ex-head coach, Josh McDaniels) select SUCH A HUGE PROJECT with his first round pick in a year that he had Kyle Orton, (who has been kicked around like a cheap hooker his whole career) on his roster.
Kyle Orton is BY FAR a better quarterback right now, than Tim Tebow will ever be. That is my god’s honest opinion. He WILL be the starting quarterback unless Tebow uses his perfect Christian image and injects the holy spirit in John Fox and John Elway’s (now VP of Football operation in Denver) ass.
I hope Tebow succeeds, I really do. I’m not a Tim Tebow hater, I’m a Tim Tebow is absolutely not a NFL Quarterback guy. I would take Tim Tebow on my team every day of the week….not in the first round, maybe 5th and later and as a full back or tight end, but he is not an NFL quarterback, I’m sorry.
