Citi Field WAS ROCKING YESTERDAY
The Mets finally had a winning record coming into a late April game, so you’d think METS FANS WOULD PILE UP TO SEE A WINNING TEAM…problem is we are talking about miserable/negative METS FANS. And the other problem is that the Mets were coming into this game against SAN FRAN, losing 7 of their last 11 (MONDAY made it 8 of their last 12/6 of their last 8), so Met fans as usual gave their recently struggling team…as much support as I give my boy going on a diet. Or like your crackhead brother who has been sober for 3 months, then relapses…AND CALLS/NEEDS YOUR HELP and you ignore him. THAT’S MET FANS FOR YA.
So as the gates opened in CITI FIELD the NEW YORK METS had a whopping 1,000 fans IN ATTENDANCE… – there were probably twice as many #FATTIES at the closest Stew Leonard’s. SHOCKER THE METS LOST. SHOCKER THE METS ARE AT .500 AGAIN. SHOCKER THE FANS DON’T GIVE A SHIT.
