An Ode To My Favorite College Athlete, Allison Stokee
Gotta love a girl who can handle a pole.
One of my favorite college athletes, Allison Stokee, finished her track & field career yesterday with a flop in the Pac-10 Championship, recording a “no-height” (whatever that means) for the University of California. If you care (Check out the results from the events here.)
Allison has been a big hit for every sports blog since 2008 when she first arrived on scene. But back in ’08, Allison wasn’t so big on the “hot track and field girl with a pole in her hand“. She was more concerned with just her sport, if you want to call it that.
In ’07, Stokee was a finalist for Spike TV’s Sexiest Athlete Award. But she was stern in saying she would never accept the award if she won. Well luckily for all of us dudes, things have changed.
According to Withleather.com, Allison has come to terms with the fact that her athletic career is coming to an end and she’d need to make money and fans elsewhere. So now, she has agreed to accept the honor if she wins.
