Aldridge Doing His Anti LeBron…
Aldridge has panned out to be a pretty nice baller. He is 7th in the league in points/game at 21.7 (more than Deron Williams and Dirk), adding 8.2 boards/game, with a career high in assists (2.4) and FG% (51.3%).
What surprises most people about Aldridge is that he was actually the number 2 pick in the “Worst NBA Draft” Ever in 2006. That draft fucking sucked. It went #1 TOR-Andrea Bargnani #2 CHI- LaMarcus Aldridge #3 CHA- Adam “:) face” Morrison #4 POR-Tyrus Thomas #5 ATL-Shelden Williams #6 POR-Brandon Roy #7 BOS-Randy Foye #8 MEM-Rudy Gay #9 GSW-Patrick O’Bryant WTF? HAHA #10 SEA-Mouhamed Sene WTF? HAHA #11 ORL-JJ Redick #12 NO/OKC-Hilton Armstrong…YEA it gets a lot WORSE. You have guys like Rodney Carney, Oleksly Pechrov, Quincy Douby, Maurice Ager, Joel Freeland, Cedric Simmons ALL SELECTED IN THE FIRST ROUND.
The best player from 2006 is RAJON RONDO and he refuses to shot a basketball. Rondo was actually selected by the Phoenix Suns with the 21st overall pick and then traded to Boston with Brian Grant for Cleveland’s first round pick in 2007 and straight $$$ homie.
Same thing with Aldridge on draft day: he was traded to Portland for their 4th overall pick, Tyrus Thomas – who blows D I C K – and VIKTOR KHRYAPA. WHATTTT A TRADE CHICAGO. At least VIKTOR averaged 1 ASSIST/GAME for his career in the NBA – something Melo can’t say. HAHA.
And if you are you wondering how the Bulls got that #2 pick in 2006 to get Aldridge – THEY FUCKIN GAVE THE KNICKS THE #FATTY CHEESEBURGER EDDY. So yea if not for Isiah Thomas, the Knicks might have landed LaMarcus Aldrige. But who are we kidding, with that #2 pick we would have gotten Tyrus Thomas. Let’s be serious OVER HERE. Oh and on that note CONGRATULATIONS to ZEKE on doing big things with FIU. Really used his name and had a big impact recruiting some good talent there. WAY TO GO DERRR DICK.
